It’s really important to Waterways to be part of our local business community. That’s why
we’re delighted to support the Devon Business Show organised by Devon and Plymouth
Chamber of Commerce on 28th September at Plymouth Pavilions.
The event brings together businesses from across Devon and further afield to showcase
their products and services, network and learn from one another. Waterways is sponsoring
the ‘Marine, Manufacturing and Construction’ zone which gives us an opportunity not only
to highlight our innovative drainage solutions for commercial and residential clients, but
also talk about our commitment to ocean conservation, a cause very close to our heart, not
least because our MD, John is a keen surfer.
Being a South-West business, we see first-hand the damage caused to our seas by a number
of factors, so we’ll be talking about the important work of the Ocean Conservation Trust and
giving visitors to our stand the opportunity to win a family ticket to the National Marine
Aquarium in Plymouth.
We’re really grateful for this opportunity and for the work of the Devon and Plymouth
Chamber team who do a sterling job of bringing together businesses of all sizes, across all
sectors for the good of our local economy.
